BUYING GUIDE
How to choose the right seat height
Dining chairs
Seat height of 18–19" pairs with a standard 30" dining table. Leave about 10–12" between the seat and the underside of the table so knees clear comfortably.
Counter stools
Kitchen counters and islands are usually 36" high — choose a 24–26" seat. All of our counter-height stools sit at 24".
Bar stools
Home bars and pub tables run 40–42" high — look for a 28–30" seat. Swivel models make it easier to get in and out in tight spaces.
